  • NATA :-

Council of Architecture (CoA) conducts NATA, a national-level entrance test for architecture students, every year. It is denominated to be the top entrance exam for architecture students. Only intermediate in science or commerce with mathematics, or diploma (mathematics as a compulsory subject) students could apply for NATA entrance test, minimum of 50% marks required to become eligible for the test. The question asked in the NATA are Multiple Choice Question (MCQ), Multiple Select questions (MSQ), Numerical Answer Type(NAQ), Preferential Choice Type( PCQ), and drawing-based questions. After cracking the examination successfully, student needs follow counseling process and they will get the college according to their rank.

  • JEE mains :-

Most of you will confuse by seeing JEE mains in the list of architecture entrance exams but it’s true, National Testing Agency conducts a special exam for architecture. This exam is JEE mains II, at the time of filling the form students need to pick paper II to get NITs and all the other architecture colleges except IITs. In this examination questions on mathematics are asked which contains 100 marks, after that, they have to go through aptitude and drawing test which contains 200 and 100 marks respectively.   • CEED :-

CEED, commonly known as Common Entrance Examination for Design is a national level entrance test for architecture for pursuing post-graduate courses in architecture. This exam is conducted in two parts, part A and B, where A is a computer-based examination, in which MCQ, MSQ, and NAT type questions are asked. Part B is based on drawing, creativity, communication, and problem identification skill.   • JEE Advanced :

All the pupils who wanted to pursue a bachelor’s degree in architecture from an IIT must go through JEE Advance paper. To give this paper firstly they have to clear JEE mains paper I, and after that, they have to choose the architect option while filling the JEE Advanced form. After cracking the JEE Advanced, pupils must crack the aptitude test to get into the IITs.

  • KIEEE :-

KIEEE is a national-level entrance test for B-arch conducted by Kalinga University itself. Students need to choose the B-arch field while filling the application form of KIEEE. Only an intermediate with 60% aggregate marks in Phy, Che, and Mathematics are eligible to apply for this architect exam. In the respected exam, questions are based on class 12th syllabus, drawing, along with this students need to go through an aptitude test.   • HITSEEE:-

HITSEEE is an examination that every student must give, who is willing to pursue a career in architecture. This national-level entrance examination for B-arch is conducted by the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science every year. Students who are willing to pursue PG in architecture could also apply for HITSEEE, so this is also an entrance exam for M.arch. Only the intermediate in Science with PCM as course subject, or they must have three years diploma certificate (Mathematics as a compulsory subject) can apply for the entrance test. Along with this, the candidate must crack the aptitude test in architecture that is JEE or NATA. After fulfilling these eligibility criteria students can appear in the examination, and based on their performance in the entrance test they will get the rank and admission to the prestigious Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science.

  • GITAM GAT :-

GITAM GAT is a very important national level entrance test for architecture, conducted by Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management every year. students could take admission in B-arch course by cracking this exam. Students with intermediate (PCM) or 3-years diplomas ( mathematics) are eligible for the B-arch program offered by GITAM University. Plus, pupils must clear the NATA or JEE mains -II exam.  Those students who want to pursue Masters in Architecture can also apply for the GAT entrance test.  All the qualified students will go through the ranking process which is based on their performance in the entrance test and aptitude test (NATA or JEE-II).   • BSAUEEE :-

B.S Abdur Rahman University conducts BSAUEEE, every year, to take admission in various courses at the university, including architecture. Pupils from the whole nation can apply for the BSAUEEE exam, for eligibility 50% or more in their 12th is required. Pupils must clear the entrance test with good marks, and good rank will confirm their seat in the university,

  • AMU B.arch :-

AMU B.arch is a national level entrance test conducted by the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University, every year to take admission in architecture course in the University. Here, architecture courses in UG, PG are available, so students can also pursue higher architecture degrees from the Aligarh Muslim University. It is expected that Aligarh Muslim University will also conduct an entrance exam for P.Hd in architecture from 2021-2022. Students must clear their intermediate (PCM) with 50% aggregate marks to become eligible. After that, they have to crack the entrance test as well as JEE mains with excellent marks. West Bengal Joint entrance examination is one of the top state-level exams for architecture courses, by clearing this exam students can get architecture college in West Bengal. The eligibility criteria of this entrance test are the same as other architecture exams i.e. 12th appearing or pass student with PCM as the core subject. A student with the best rank in the test will take admission to all the participating colleges of WB JEE.

APJ Abdul Kalam university conducts UPSEEE to take admission in various architecture and engineering colleges of UP, every year.
